Speedometer quandary
Took my 81-930 out for spin for the first time in many years. The speedometer stopped working. I am getting a pulse signal from one of the brown/red wires at the speedometer.
I’ve done a lot of reading but can’t seem to find the correct answer. Should there be a pulse from both wires and what is the correct connection at the speedometer. Some say Red, blank, Br/R signal, Br/R and Br or R, blank, BrR and BrR, Br Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is everything else working, lights? Might be the electrical part of your ignition switch, try wiggling the key when driving.

Some parts in the speedometer failed. Got it repaired and I’m back in business trying to “test” its operating range.
