OK. I removed my speedo for repairs (usual odometer malfunction). Took careful photographs to record the position of the wiring connections at the back. Sent the speedo off to be fixed but lost my phone with the photographs.
So after several attempts working from memory I have the speedo lights working, but nothing else functions ( no speedo, no odometer). Where do the wires connect at the back to have the instrument functioning properly ? I have stopped for the evening before I start using my big hammer ![]()

I have the wires as follows: moving clockwise from the left hand side as seen. ---red/blue and red/black on first connector ---no connector ---red/white on second connector ---solid brown and solid brown on third connector ---brown/red and brown/red on fourth connector The lights are okay. What have I got messed up here?

It's alive !!!
Thanks to everybody, and the final push from porwolf was the clincher. It still doesn't seem right to have a speed sensor wire piggy backed with a ground wire and then plugged in, but hey it works!! .
