Msd boost retard source?
Posted this in another thread, but got buried.
Getting ready to start my 88 930. Got most/all the vacuum lines back on. The distributor has lines running to it, but I know the vacuum advance/retard pot is frozen, so they serve no purpose. I just can’t recall which intake line “powers” the msd boost retard, is it port 1,2,3,4, or 5? I thought it was the one that goes to the air temp switch then to the outside of the distributor vacuum device. But none of those lines are “barbed.” Leading me to believe they don’t carry boost pressure, as they would just come off. I know some folks ran it off the port feeding the decel valve, but I still use my decel valve. Any help appreciated… Bo |

Ok, answered my own question by digging through old threads…
Ultimate 930 Distributor, advance, retard, timing, Turbo lag, MSD, mod, thread. I know I haven’t posted on here in a couple years, but I guess I’m surprised no one offered any help? |
