Need help identifying these parts on the back of the Intercooler

This pic comes from the 87-89 PET and I am focusing on part #23 and it's associated parts. The list stops at part #16 so I can't see what they are and if I need them as I don't believe they are on my IC.

If I need them on my 88 can you please identify what they are and why I need them.

Really appreciate any and all help!

seafood10,

The reason you did not see 23 Switch Boost Pressure is that you are looking at a US PET. The other PET is a ROW one. Porsche deletes parts from the US PET when not needed.

The parts you are referencing in 107-45 are the over boost switch and is not mounted in that location in your car but is in the bypass valve housing, the parts in that diagram are for a 930 S M148 and is not correct for any USA or ROW Standard 3.3

There are two different Sections of PET, Local Market and USA/Canada and the part numbers for those parts will only be shown in the Local Market section. They are not for your car and won’t work unless you have a 930 S intercooler

They are not correct for your application unless you have a 930 S intercooler but here is the numbers you are asking about.

Thank you for the great responses! My IC is stock so I guess I don't have to worry about this, one more thing off the list!

So I am curious.
What does a 930S IC look like?

I still kick myself for not taking pics back in the day of everything from Ruf cars to DP’s to 10-20 930’s in the shop on a regular basis but I did not have a handheld video camera, digital camera and mini computer ( cell phone) in my pocket like we have now. I have only seen 2 930S cars and the intercooler was larger than a stock intercooler but not nearly as big as the Ruf or the Garrettson (Andial) intercoolers of the day. Hopefully someone has a comparison pic next to a stock intercooler they can provide.

.
Alan,
Take a look at pictures 162 to 170 on this 1989 930S, recently on Bring a Trailer. The intercooler top surface isn't much larger but it does have substantially more cooling fins laid front to back and is deeper. Besides being larger, it is connected to a different charge pipe at quite a steep angle where the two meet. There is a timing sticker with specs that are different than the regular later 3.3 930's.

.
I'm attaching a link from a current auction on BaT for a normal 1989 930. See pictures 74 to 79 for comparison.
