FS: Full Width Intercooler

Cross-posting to the "Porsche 911 Used Parts For Sale & Wanted" forum, too

We have a lot of take-off parts from projects over the years, and only so much space… So it’s time to make space and let someone else get some use and value from these parts on their Porsche.

Full Width Intercooler for 1978-89 Turbo
Can be adapter to 1991-94 Turbo

Plenty of cooling core volume and surface area to support any CIS-injected engine
Has supported 600hp on EFI 911 Turbos (ex: MODE-built 3.3L)

Heavy duty cast aluminum inlet & outlet tanks.

Original manufacturer: Blown Six
Have fun reading through the archived stories if you're so inclined – sometimes these fit fine, other times they didn’t, but they did perform.

This was removed from a heavily modified 1986-88 930 engine, and at one point had 4x piggyback fuel injectors spraying into the intercooler’s outlet tank in order to try to provide adequate fueling and keep the engine from blowing up at very high boost pressures. (It didn’t work, RIP engine.)
Those holes have now been drilled out, TIG welded shut, and sanded smooth.

Everything else is as we removed it from the engine: outlet for a HKS (or equivalent) blow-off valve, some other port previously welded shut on the bottom of the inlet tank, etc.

Asking $850 + shipping

NOTE: this is a longneck intercooler, meaning it sits directly atop the throttle body.
No diverter valve or related parts are included.
1991-94 964 Turbo parts would be used, and they are inexpensive and readily available.

Man I want but the recently discovered cracked header on my garbage is cutting deep into my fun budget.
I still want to get the turbo Chris and I discussed last month.
I do dig the old school Andial that I'm running though and hate to take it off but there ain't nothing like a full bay IC chilling on top of of a flat 6.
I need to hurry up and list all my old take offs lol.
