Adding the omega spring to non-omega transmissions

So I was looking at the PET catalog tonight and noticed that for 1 year(77) at least (930.33), they added the omega spring to the early 3.0 turbo cars. See below images for reference parts. My question is if I were able to source the parts, would they be able to adapt to my early transmission. Has anyone tried this? I understand I would need to change the shaft the arm attaches to as well as it is longer on the omega arms.

Not sure why you need to change it. I have no spring on the 1984 trans mounted to my 1976 Turbo engine in my SC and have no problems with it. Do you have a hard pedal due to a performance clutch or other problem? I'll post a pic just to show it off.

Due to the power targets on my build I needed a much stronger clutch. I originally was going to install a 934 kit, but they are no longer being made. Chris at Turbo Kraft recommended a Kenedy setup until a better solution becomes available. The Kennedy setup is known to have a heavier pedal from feedback I have gotten. Adding the omega would help some of that. I will be rebuilding the entire pedal cluster with new bushings as well as installing a new cable to help as well. Since this arm uses a different cable I wanted to see if the conversion is possible using these parts before I order a new cable.

I ran with a Kennedy Stage 1 on my first 930 and didn't experience an overly stiff clutch. It worked fine. But their more aggressive stage PP's could be a different story.
I still have that PP sitting on the shelf and should probably send it back to Kennedy for a tuneup. Only maybe 10,000 miles on it.
