This will be a drawn out process due to time constraints - stay tuned over the next ? days/weeks
![]() Today I am beginning to install the Brain Leask RPM switch and solenoid kit - to complement and enhance the Imagine Auto fuel head and Brian Leask WUR setup. Brings the richness down to about 12:1 AFR over almost the entire rev range. Just beginning. Looks rough now, but this will be cleaned up and nicely sano when finished. ![]() ![]() ![]()

details man. We need details. Congratulations on the beast. I am basing my future mods on your experiences here and appreciate all the documentation.

Details coming........
Turns out to be way more complex thatn I thought - I think I had a boost leak (stupid mistake on my part - left off IC post spacer, making the IC tilt) which makes the AFR number and charts suspect. Hang tight!

Raw data. Red line is best previous run in October.
Other runs are this past Saturday. Getting there! ![]() Tweakage of the WUR and ROM switch activation points are needed - now it's too lean down low.... ![]() ![]()

If the monsoons stop, I'll take some outside pics of the RPM switch/solenoid install - turned out well.
Maximum IC outlet temps were 80 degrees on the dyno runs - HUG fan strapped to the IC

Don't you want some more fuel in that thing man?
I mean, if your turbo is like mine, you are at full boost at 3000 RPM, and at that point, your in the 13.5-14.0 AFR range from what I see. You sure you don't want to add a little fuel to it?

Absolutely! As I said above, I need to add more fuel down low.
And major tweakage of the WUR and perhaps an RPM tab change. -------- Here is the note resulting from that dyno run from the creator of the WUR and the RPM/solenoid setup: Looking good Craig. It looks like you’re almost there tuning wise. That’s quite an impressive gain in HP & TQ, and pretty much exactly what we had guessed at 440 RWHP. Congrats! That being said, you need to richen the mixture in the lower/mid-range slightly. You should try doing this with the idle mixture screw first. If that doesn’t get you enough fuel, a slight decrease in the warm control pressure will also help. You also need to richen the top end. You can do so by adjusting the enrichment insert in the bottom of the WUR. I would guess you need to tighten the adjustment nut/stud about ½ turn to get you to an even 12.0 AFR between 5500 and 6500 RPM.
