Garettson intercooler install
picked up a Garettson/Andial intercooler today, anyone have experience installing one of these? It has only one connection on the low temp side, looks like to fit lower tube from the air bypass valve? Also other connections in the back not sure about, any advise is greatly appreciated, I'll try and post some pictures soon. Also wondering if I need a newer BOV for this, heard conflicting stories.

BOV assembly
Jim,
Where can I buy a BOV assembly, elbow and tube extension like the one shown in the lower right corner of your photo. Can this unit be installed using the stock intercooler? I would like to remove the stock BOV assembly and clean up the top of the engine... decel valve etc. Less metal to heat soak might equal lower slow speed engine bay temps, no? Anyone know why the engineers changed to this new design? thomas |
