how often do injectors fail?

I'm just in the process of running my first bottle of techron FI cleaner through my system, and will likely make this a regular occurrence on a yearly basis. My initial reason was because my No.5 spark plug is considerably lighter than the others.

I am doing this in the hopes it will stabilize somewhat (especially before I have to pull everything) and all cylinders will have equal fuel delivery.

I'm just curious if anyone has seen injectors go bad?

OK...

anyhow, I put it my first bottle of techron and only filled 3/8 of the tank. Will keep ya'll posted.
