I have a Perma-tune on mine and another Porsche formite had mentioned that type can be problematical. In fact, recently my car has been idling erratic at stop lights and then stalling. I'm not sure if it's the permatune or something with the fuel system? It runs fine once underway.
In my muscle car days I used to use an MSD ignition which worked fine, but I've never heard of anyone using one on a Porsche. Any suggestions?

A lot of people use MSD on Porsche. Search and you'll find quite a few posts. I have an MSD 6A I'd sell if you want it. I started installing it thinking my cdi was bad and never finished it. It's just sitting now.
