				Finally pictures of my car

Been here for about a year, and I apologize for the delay in pictures, but here they are. 1986, had 34k when I bought it last Oct, has just over 55k on it now. Haven't cleaned the bugs off from the last trip!

Wow! 21K in one year? Now that is the way to enjoy the car!

I had a buddy back home that did a similar thing. About seven years ago he bought a garage queen '78 with 25K on the clock. The first thing he did was yank the engine and pump it to 400HP. Then he joined the PCA and hit every D/E available. Put 20K on the first year of ownership! That 930 (obviously) became his daily driver. It was enjoyed more that first year than the previous 22 combined.

				930

Yea, My daughters live in FL, I'm in SC, I go down there 1-2 times a month. Then my wife and I will take very long day trips to the mountains, I love to drive, and especially in the 930. If I take a trip, I take this, period. Last spring we drove down to Baton Rouge, but that was a long weekend. Anyway, it gets driven, I don't believe in letting them sit in the garage.

Yeah, I cleaned my car today, and I seriously thought about starting a thread on those damn bugs! They are simply caked onto my car. Layered on. It is just unreal.

And they never seem to get on my Daily Driver nearly as much. It is like they seek out Porsches. Glad to hear you are out killing bugs in your Porsche. Keep up the good work! |

Next time you get up to the upstate heading to the mountains, let me know. I could join you in my '86.

I'll do that. Last month, on a Sat, we headed up 26, got off just past Spartanburg, headed up to Little Switzerland, ate lunch, got on the parkway, headed south, ate dinner at Pisgah Inn, then drove back down 26. Kind of made a big triangle. About 700 miles in all. What a nice day of driving.
