3.2 turbo dyno chart
Someone in this town finally bought a dyno and Phil and I went up there yesterday
Phil picked up a 2005 gt3 which he ran first. It's flashed and has a full miltek exhaust. This car dyno'd at 372 rwhp at EVOMS on a mustang. Today It ran almost the same numbers on this dynojet. So I believe this/these numbers to be pretty close to a true number. I'm not all that concerned with what it makes, I'm happy with it the way it is. It's been on there for 15 months now without any problems @ .6 bar. Todd says it's good for .7, but I'm not going there. I don't know what to say about his AFR numbers. I trust my LM logs more than this wideband. I assume it's smoothed way out or something. I recorded two runs along with the dyno runs and got the same numbers I've been getting all year. I have the raw files from winpep7 but can't open them yet. For anyone that doesn't know, this is all bolt on stuff. Stock compression, @.6 bar here's a chart and a LM1 screen shot of the same run ![]() ![]() Last edited by jbrinkley; 01-15-2008 at 12:51 AM.. |

wow. l`d love to dyno mine. Are you running the stock 3.2 throttle body? that is a big restriction there and installing a bigger one should free up another 10% or so. l have mine bored out to the max diameter possible,the difference was quite dramatic.My next mod will be a diverter in the plenum under the t/body.These diverters show big improvements on the later turbos,almost unbelievable Hp gains actually if you read the dyno sheets. l think a lot of Hp can be "liberated' buy flow inprovements,the 3.2 shows it`s weaknesses there once you put the squeeze on it..

[QUOTE=jbrinkley;3705303] Todd says it's good for .7, but I'm not going there.[QUOTE]
Why not? I ran 0.7bar on mine for years before going up to Stage3. Never had any problems at 0.7bar on stock C/R ![]() Anyway, nice numbers. That puts you at about 375-380 HP at the flywheel @ 0.6bar. That extra 0.1bar will take you up to near 400HP ![]()

Cause it's scary man, lol
I might put the .7 in next time on the dyno though just to see what .1 difference does |

Expect close to 20-30Hp gain with an extra 0.1bar / 1.5psi of boost!
Don't be scared... enjoy the boost! ![]()

Jbrinkley, dont worry about the dyno AFR, keep your lm1 hooked up and read from that. I have seen so many dyno AFRs read all over the place.
