For this season I swop engine with my DP935 Coupe, I just made som cosmetic things like change the stickers and also add one more injector. More boost(Total 10 injectors.) The CIS system same as the 934 is strong to 425 hp. But I have one injector for cooling aswell. Today the car passes the smog test.

Ps My friend have a GT2. He dont feel to well..The development from Porsche seams to be standing still.

Thanks

Fun stuff.

Assuming an 8 cylinder fuel head, did you use the two extra fuel lines to run two injectors each?

If so, did this increase the flow on through those two lines? Or was this done for some other reason like getting the fuel where you wanted it?

I believe on one of the early factory 924 Turbo race cars Porsche did the opposite. The took an 8 cylinder fuel head and plumbed every two fuel lines together to supply one injector.

Do you have an opinion as the to the fueling limit of an 8 cylinder CIS fuel head might be? (My guess is around 750FWHP with a few tricks)

Thx.

Hans!! Looks like you have been very busy as usual friend, The 're-do' of the DP in signal orange came out spectacular.

Glad to hear that the new car is still kicking azz. Amazing what u are getting out of that 2.8 motor and not have it go boom. How much boost (more or less) are u running?

So what motor are u going (or have u put) in the cab?

Old 930 CIS twin turbo pics

This topic reminded me of some old projects from years back.
Found the old pics, scanned them. Enjoy.

Went into slantnose with big Kremer/dp-style wing:

Real loud. Got a picture emailed to me years later by new owner, with new exhaust -- dual mufflers, center outlets. Cool!

Another setup. This later got EFI and bigger T4/T3 turbos.

Hi again.
Normaly I use 0.8 bar. but suddenly I adjust it to 1,2 bar, I don't now why.
98 Octan . 1.6 bar 98 octan with 15% Ethanol. This was just for a dragrace.
and I broke the gearbox. 14.15 on 2 gears.
6 stock injectors in a normal place. 2 injectors in the throttle body.
2 electronic injectors to the intake box, adjusted by a pressure switch. Feed by the
cold start injector. so simpel it is, Iam a budget old man.
The orange colour is same as Jägermeister. But this color is the original colour
for this car. 107 continental. When I bought this car it was red. Nobody liked this orange colour in the seventies, so red it went..
This is a lightweight version. with a loot of goodies.
The DP cab will have a 3.0 engine with the same set up as the 2,8 l engine.
But with a horizontally fan. maybe twin plugs, but I Don't know why?
I have also plan to make a 1,4 l engine, only future can tell.

Yup.
Example of how *not* to store or ship a G50.

This will go back together with oil cooling & spray setup, steel synchros, billet shift forks, long Turbo 5th gear, and built up LSD.
Stuff it in that 3.5L 934 and enjoy!

BMW Roundel Cis power

Hi again Yesterday I did "Shake down"with my 2.8l twin turbo DP935.
Wow. I was a little surprised that the handling was super, My intention was to test the set up for at least 2 days, but it felt ok from start, Iam happy for this, because Its a lot of adjustment possibilities in this car. Even the engine was working very well. and not to mention the brakes. Next project will be to make all swaybars adjustable from cockpit. This is the last ting I will do to make this car completely.
Not to mention the Toyyo tires and the American Maxima oil (straight50) just oil nothing ells.
