It's all relative to one's subjective opinion. For me the sound is moderately agressive but not like a Top Fuel dragster. With the diffuser the sharpness is somewhat muted to a more "civilly acceptable" level. It is not raspy but anounces the car's presence with significant heartiness - whatever that may mean to the individual hearing same. If the engine were to fire up in the forest but there was no one there to hear it there would still be sound waves. How loud or quiet would be the opinion of whomever wasn't there, then again...
