Need a set of 930 Stub Axles

Playing with the Trippy Twin Turbo on the street the other day and broke a stub axle. I'm glad this happened on the street and not at 175 on the back straight at Road Atlanta! I am going to replace the stub axles and bearings on both rear wheels (the outer stubs at the swing arm).

Thanks,

Cleve

The car has an extremely wide track and the bearings are under a lot of stress and need to be checked frequently. I just took delivery of the car and I did notice that the passenger side rear wheel had some play in it and freshening the bearings was on the list to do before tracking it. I think the looseness may have allowed the bearings and stub axle to get into a bind and break...of course the full throttle launch and quick shift to second may have contributed also.

Some of mine have a very wide track and plenty of HP and I have never broken one...I do carry an extra when I go to the track along with a host of other spares but have never had to replace one. Have you taken the suspension apart and serviced it or crack checked the components ? If that car has been raced quite a bit you may want to check those items specially if you already took out a axle stub .May be some hours on those parts . Always good to play it safe
