how to set timing
hi i just got done building my first 930 motor(stroker knife edge crank c2 p/c boattail cases 40 mm intake ports balanced on and on) but how do i set the ignition

if you are talking about the dizzy, just set it statically. To do that, make sure the engine is at TDC (verify by checking cylinder #1). Then point the dizzy rotor to the notch on the dizzy casing (will be a small line that looks like someone took a chisel to the metal casing). This where spark plug #1 will go, then follow firing order listed on the engine bay sticker. Once you start her up, use a timing light to make final adjustments.
