No Cranking. Need help.

Everything started this way.
Few weeks ago noticed fuel leak and Turbo sump oil dammage. So dissasembled everything and after parts was rdered did noting, just waited.
Today finaly put everything togethere and , with excitement, turned the key on.....
Engine start rotating and rotating and rotating..... no starting
Decidet to check all fuses and relays. All seem fine and pumps working . Thought good to go......turned the key and .....NOTHING. No klick, no crank, no nothing........except doors locks makes noise. Check battery- is fully loadet.
Turned key- nothing.

Car was running fine before dissasembly. Engine rebuilt 8K ago.
Worst part is , before dying on me it was atleast rotating like crazy......

Can DME relay affect starter? ( I think I read somewhere it can)

BTW there car has no alarm.

Please help.

You have no DME relay...

Check the battery wire on the starter and the little yellow wire as well, how about the ground strap on the transmision.

How much did you take apart?

Can you here the CD unit making a high pitched squeel w/ key on?

Yes I can hear that. That sound stays in my ears when I'm in other side of a house.......



By DME relay I ment Pump relays......

First thing I would check is turn the key on and push down on the throttle plate, you should hear the pumps going..
Next I'd pull a plug and see if there's spark.
Also if you've got a vacuum leak from your intercooler , it won't start.
What about the overboost switch? make sure that didn't come off..
Sounds like it's something pretty simple to me..

You can not be more right than that. Ofcourse I will check overboost switch, but first......................appears there is Avital alarm on a car. had no remote for it, so tought there is no alarm.For two months.
Now some how I engaged it . I guess when battery was removed alarm engadge half way - no spark or smtgh ( no starting ). Then I was pushing buttons left and right (checking for battery status) is all stuff working.... I gues I pushed secret button too...............TO BAD DON'T KNOW WHICH IS SECRET BUTTON, or how to disengage damn alarm......

Anyone have excpirience with AVITAL CHAMPION alarm

remove alarm and throw in trash!!!

You have to trace where ever it was "spliced" in and repair back to factory specs. It's usually in the trunk near the fuse box and or fuel tank and or under the dash near ignition switch.

Look for scotch lock connector, butt connectors and general *****ty wiring!!!

NICE! Now you can slowly remove the harness and trace all the wiring to wherever it was spliced into the factory wiring. Most of it is probably just "tapped into" but there will be some wires that were cut and "intersected" by the alarm control unit. These are the ones you will obviously have to reconnect to make the car run w/o alarm...

Good luck, maybe pile it all up and set it on fire when you are done. Take pictures!! Someone did that w/ a fuel enrichment device earlier and it was hilarious.

I've thought about doing that myself, but I really like the auto lock/unlock feature it brings to the party

By any chance anyone has ignition wireing diagram? Want to duble check everything and make sure not missing some little wire.
