TRG swaybars & Wevo RARB mounts
Anyone know if TRG rear sway bars have the same bolt hole spacing as this Wevo mount sold by PP?
Maybe someone knows the hole spacing of this Wevo mount? ![]() My TRG's measure 2 5/8 hole to hole. Thanks!

The stock RARB mounts to the WEVO unit and the TRG unit bolt to the stock RARB mount, so you should be ok.
Does your car need or have the WEVO RARB mounts now? I'd almost be inclined to use the stock mounts until you break them. I have a 22mm bar in back that took years to break the right side mount before I switched over. Even then I didn't replace the left side mount because of the rear pump location. I'm going to wait until it breaks. Or I get a welder and have nothing else to do.... |

Wow....I tore my right side mount in less than a week after putting 22mm bars on...I must play harder with my toy than you do.
I welded on the WEVO mounts (both) and have had zero problems since, and it's going on almost a full year now. Yeah, the drivers side was a bit of an issue with the pump there. Simply cut off the old sheet metal bracket (very carefully) slightly repositioned it, drilled a couple new holes, and bolted the whole shooting match back into place after the welding the new WEVO sway bar mount into place. If by chance it didn't bolt up, you could have a simple block made to adapt the TRG RB to the WEVO.
The big reason I didn't do the left side is I didn't have a welder and had a shop weld the right side after I prepped it and drove it to them. I didn't want to fool with the rear fuel pump and welding at the time. I wish I had known about TRG RBs when I bought mine. Never would have bought the weltmeisters... |

I went with the very nice Tarett 22mm bars both front & rear. They fit the WEVO mounts perfectly. I did have to add a 1/4" aluminum spacer between the Wevo mount and the bar mount, so that the bar would clear the tranny mount. However, I had to do that even with the stock mounts for the VERY short time they survived on the car.
I worked with Ira at Tarett with the clearance issue, and he now has those little spacers available when a 930 owner buys the bars directly from him. Ira is a great guy to work with!! Highly recommend him & his product! Mark |

I have the EXACT combination - TRG bars and WEVO.
Fits perfectly and a MUST after shredding 2 sets of mounts including the 'reinforced factory' mounts.

A question for those who had problem with the factory mount & TRG bar (cl8ton - hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread on a related question
)...What size bar were you using? I have "B" in the front & "A" in the rear (don't ask... I'm swapping them this winter) and after 2 seasons at the track, I'm still ok.

FYI:
The stock mounts really get a workout......on the street with big sways- Sudden massive differences left to right just rip those suckers out quicker than gradual track turns.

Craig, did you have to add a spacer for the bar to clear the tranny using the Wevo's?

I don't think there was a spacer - it was 3 years ago -

Ah thanks Craig for the Wevo goodness
![]() It does appear you have a small spacer between the TRG and Wevo mount? That would be about the right thickness to move it off the tranny.

Just like I stated in my post earlier, about my Tarett 22mm bars. You have got to put that 1/4" aluminum spacer in place...then all is happy!

Question:
Would wevo mounts work with a regular 1976 18 mm factory rear bar? I have heavy springs and don't need any extra sway bar right now but I would like to weld in mounts. |
