system/control pressure function?
hmm, have some screws in brain today...
Fuel heads lower chamber pressure ( control pressure) regulates system pressure to injectors. Rising control pressure leans out mixture? why I ask: 2 buddys with 930s, using them on track told me they took out the WUR completly. Would that rise control pressure and result in lean mixture? or is it proportionally? Falk

Less control pressure more fuel, more control pressure less fuel. Without a WUR the on boost enrichment will not work causing a lean condition.

Falk, are the two guys you refer to using some other method to enrich the mixture while under boost? They must be, otherwise I can't imagine running without the WUR.

Mixture would be so lean, the engine would not start. One can eliminate the WUR only if alternate means of varying control pressure to the CIS is applied. |
