Yes, this is a rhd 75 being carted off for a full resto in salmon with white interior. You are correct..they are rare with some prototype parts.

Hard to believe Porsche simply pushed this car thru to production trying to sell 500 to do some sort of homologation for racing so it could race a 911 turbo on the track. And the rest is history.

Magnus found one... He was looking earlier this year.
They exist but are very rare.

Magnus sourced his from Australia. He must hate having to overtake things in it? We all know you do a lot of overtaking in a 930.

I realize I speak for a minority viewpoint BUT, the shame in California is that these are the only ones we can get away with modifying into a super performance 930. After 1975 the State intrudes in some ugly ways. A pity they are being restored to original instead of being used as proper hot rods.

Absolutely, I believe you are speaking to a minority. Basing California's stringent Smog laws as rationalization to modify a California 930 is asinine. They still pass smog if you know what you're doing. And they're few and few all original early 3.0 litre cars out there. I would be very disappointed to see an original 930 being modified or restored for no other reason than to "hot rod" it. Sorry this isn't that car anymore. I don't know if you've been following the market but original cars are rare, highly valued, in demand and is Driving a Porsche in it's purest form. Save the whales....

Two LHD and one RHD came up for sale/sold in Europe last month, plus Magnus bought the one in Australia, so they are out there. For some reason it seems like a larger percentage of the 1975 model year have been repainted and modified as compared to the later 1976-1977 3.0-liters.
