AFR Tutorial, Please !!!
Hello,
I am in the process of installing, and learning how to use, an LM2 . . . what are the "good numbers" with regard to AFRs for idle, low RPM, midrange, WFO, etc ??? I know this has been discussed extensively in the past, but it is hard to put all this together via the search function (info scattered everywhere) . . . Thank you !!! Ronnie |

Well under full throttle, I would like to see 11.2-11.8 (depending on boost level and heat)
Under cruising, you may want 14.5- 15.5 or maybe a little more depending on load Idle should be a less than cruising Some people will argue these numbers, I always try to keep it fat under throttle and as lean as possible under crusing (better gas mileage, less oil contamonation, cleaner motor, less wearing)

I've asked similar questions but have only heard general answers so far. It would be great to see the perfect AFR curve on a chart.
A lean idle is said to be good, but above that I can only assume that 11.8 is ideal.
