How did Z cars rack up against 930s BITD

Well, we all know the answer to that... but I need to bring this thread at least close to being on topic! I had to share this ebay find with a group that appreciates this era of cars, I don't even like Z cars but this is an amazing time capsule! Sorry about the OT, wont happen again!

I'm not a fan of the ZX series car. I prefer the 70-73 Z series having had a 73Z with the 72 carbs. Not a bad little car but no comparison other than it has the same AC as ours... NONE.

I love Z cars and have owned at least one for the past 10+ years. My ZX Turbo is considerably faster than my '89 930. Spence that car you posted is incredible..wow! There is no way I see it hitting $35K though.

They are really great driving cars and very rewarding to own, good looking, extremely reliable and take well to suspension, brake and engine modifications.

The AC on the early cars were marginally better than the 930.

Yasin, I assume your ZX is modified beyond your 930. I thought the japanese turbos were undersized from the factory for low speed use vs the german turbos which were sized for autobahn speeds.

My ex-in-laws had one of those! What a plush-mobile. It seemed like a very radical departure from the earlier Z's; more creature comforts at the cost of thrills.
