oik guys gonna try one more time for a get together. hopefully everyone is going to try and attend octurbofest in the carolinas in early nov. i think it would be great to meet up prior and finally meet all our fellow brethren. thinking maybe in delray? email me with sugestions as sept. is almost done,and like i said before the carolina boys know how to have fun and you dont want to miss out, not to mention get out of this fla heat....frank

arrgg, i'm deep into my efi conversion right now..... but things are moving quickly and i should be back together in a couple weeks...... a prelim meet before octurbofest would be a good time to shake out any bugs in my system, count me in - pending 930 is off jackstands

I'm still on jack-stands. But Morikami Park would be a nice meeting place, nice parking lot and kinda of a middle ground place for everyone. I was there once for a meet and it was really nice.

Not sure. I think they had beer there in the coolers some years ago at the meet. But, yes, we need to have a beerfest place for sure.

z good idea on morikami, and yes i have attended a few bmw events there and we always had beer. glad to see there is some interest in the octurbofest meet, i was going to trailer up if there were no takers from down here (milage) but...... anyway maybe too soon but how about this sun.? too soon?cant wait for some cool n.c weather!!!!!!

I was thinking about going efi when I had the motor apart but scraped the idea.

just got back from an hour+ drive and the fuel pumps kept running the whole time. . . totally amazing.

think maybe my car can make it to morikami?

Yeah, soon, but not this Sunday. Like someone said here, there's only a few running 930's in s. florida. I saw a black on black euro car on southbound I-95 yesterday, turbo whining, car sounded great and looked awesome. First time I've seen one down here in the wild except for Jim's car.

I was wondering if anyone here is the owner of a red cabrio that I once ran against on a late friday night going east on Broward blvd?.
