What muffler for my 930?

Hi guys

I have just Dyno tested my 1976 930. It shows 300bhp and 369Kw on rebuilt motor ... the engine has been enlarged to 3.2L ... has Mahle Piston and Cylinders with 8:1 Compression ... red line at 7,000 RPM ... all new rocker arms ... all new valves ... new ARP rods and ARP rod bolts ... SC WebCam ... Crankshaft has been balanced by Custom Crankshaft Repair ... ported and polished heads ... 993 Twin Turbo head studs ... Garrett Turbo ... SSI Exhaust.

My question: I want a new sports muffler. What muffler is the best for my car. I would like more sound and performance.

Make sure you keep the original muffler. Those single out 3.0 OE mufflers are very hard to find and worth $.

Which amount of boost are you runing? Which turbo Garrett? Given your engine spec, I would think that you should get much closer to 400bhp than 300.

The stock crossover pipe and muffler have you corked up. A free flowing muffler of straight through design will allow the power out. Once you get a new muffler the waste gate pipe design and Y-joint may show to be sub-prime for your application, it was used on the 265HP USA engine.
Thank you all for the support, I do love this stuff!

I hope this is not too off topic.

Rarly8, I think I remember seeing one of your muffler systems that was a gt3 style setup. It had two pipes exiting out of the center.

I was wondering if you have a few pictures of that setup. I am curious how low it is and what it looks like from the side.

thanks!
