somebody building a motor please pick these up- I paid 2,450 for used ones just a year ago- anybody building their motor should seriously consider!

Can these be fitted to the early 3 liter turbo? Are the original heads usable? Those are big$$$

Yes they can- there may be machine work involved to make the heads seal to the cyls. and possibly minor height adjustment. Don't be scared about the machine work though because you have to machine to make up for the diffrence in diameter (unless already 3.3)...
You also need other cylinder tins as well ($100 will buy those)

My mechanic confirmed with several other reputable builders that these can be used without modification to earlier 3.3 case or heads. Any prospective buyer should conduct his own research. Many threads/examples of this modification on this board.

There are cylinder head sealing issues that need to be addressed (something about a possible gasket...)- there was a thread on this a while back- but nothing major that a machine shop can't easily/cheaply straighten out.

I've got the fully finned 965 P&C's on my 87 3.3L engine. No mods needed to the heads or case, although we did use a copper sprayed base gasket with an o-ring IIRC (maybe more, just can't remember...).

Why on earth have these not sold yet? Proper factory fully finned 964t cylinders and pistons..... I thought these would be long gone....
