930 Rear grilled side air scoops?
I thought they only came with the slant nose version, but I've seen a 930 with normal front and these rear air scoops. Was it an option you could order on any 930 or is it an aftermarket mod?

I have seen a few aftermarket mods for this, but I don't believe there was a factory option.

Did they have functionality? If theres an oilcooler or brakeducts it would be ok but if just foor looks pretty lame IMO.

There's an oil cooler behind the passenger side duct, IIRC.
For enough money, I'm sure the Porsche factory could have installed these in any non-slant widebody via Special Works. I'm guessing the majority that you see around are probably not factory-installed. The factory actually used wood for those cheese grater slats.

Noah930 is correct. The factory installed slats are made of wood...

Factory or not, wood or not, the vents are very functional. They cool the rear breaks and, better yet, they cool the motor.
