$$$$$1984 SLANTNOSE PORSCHE

Slant conversion. No affiliation, but its local to me. I did a websearch on the VIN and its been on ebay recently (with no bidders). The guy is asking $21k now. Might be a decent deal for someone if it checks out ok. I'd be willing to have a look at it if anyone here is interested.

Too good to be true? Maybe so. If it were $25k, you probably wouldn't think that.

A 130k mile 930 is not an easy sell these days.

No risk if I can go look at it. Just sayin'

Spoke with the seller...sounds legit. The guy just bought an '02 GT2, so he needs to get rid of this one quickly. He started with higher pricing and has lowered in an effort to make a quick sale. Hmmn...I may have to convince the wife that I need another one.

Some thoughts:
The seats are really worn (driver side replaced) so who knows how many miles before it came to states?
Passenger side front bumber is not quite right and lastly WHY the new paint and rebuild and then sell? Makes me think he possibly was not happy for the paint/repairs.

A quick leakdown and compression will tell how strong the motor is, and for $21K that is an awesome deal..wow..great price for admission.

Rebuild was 5k miles ago. I spoke with the seller and the rebuild was done 4 or 5 years ago. The car has not been driven much since then. I suspect that the paint was done in the hopes of making the car easier to sell.
