Well, isn't the stock bodied 930 an example of gaudy, 70-80s styling as well?

Agree, but that's not the look the Fiat lights have , this is:

resurrecting a very old thread. I am trying to decide what to do about the aftermarket slantnose fenders with mazda pop up units. when tearing the car down for full restoration it was not clear if they worked. a lot of hacked up wiring in the frunk.

since it is a SC/930 conversion not concerned about being factory original. would like to consider some like the posts in this thread, but it is so old no idea what is currently available.

if you have info about such units and/or have them on your car pls post.

thanks.

I think I would like to do something like you did, are those the fiat coupe units? from limited research it sounds like I should be able to find replacement parts for the mazda units. but since not a factory car, like the idea of fixed lights such as some in this post. dont even know how to search for such items.

here is a pic of my fenders. I have a very good body guy so not afraid to have my fenders cut to fit.

I also like the headlights in the bumper/valance such as 935 but doubt they are street legal.

I think the Mazda mechanisms came out of the 1st generation, I am not sure but I had an extra set, but may have sold them with my slant buckets.
the Fiat Coupe' never was sold in the US so you have to find those in Europe.

^^^
I like that idea too, but do wonder about being street legal. but also do not know if there is just a front bumper/valance with those lights that would work with my fenders/hood. seems like many of these 935 look cars may have to have corresponding fenders.

from early in this thread started searching ebay. struck gold, almost too many options.
