Header question.
Hi:
Looking for a possible change from stock heat exchangers to aftermarket headers in a 3.2 turbo conversion. What headers do the 3.2 turbo owners use if the 930 exhaust ports are supposed to be smaller than the 3.2 ports (38mm VS 34mm). Does this restrict the flow? Anyone have experience with the Dansk headers for the 930 that come with primaries in 38 and 40mm? Thanks in advance for your attention, Francisco Soto |

Primary size should be tailored to expected output and power band. Too large and you lose velocity, bottom end and midrange. The flanges should taper from 41mm to 38mm if output is moderate and power band is not focused on the top end.
My headers also come with either 38mm or 41mm primaries.
