rear wheels spin in neutral while running w/ arse in the air

So the arse is up high for multiple applications of PB Blast to all exhaust manifold hardware for impending header install.

Started the car to heat up the bits for another application and burn off previous applications (whoa the schmoke!)... and the wheels spin @ like 0.05mph.

Fut the wuck???

Clutch is obviously not fully disengaging.

50k miles, with new spring-centered clutch @ like 37k.

OE LSD.

Any thoughts what gives? Or is this normal?

do they really say "arse" in CT......I thought that was for those Brits!

This is normal. Just the oil churning things around and moving the wheels

You're too funny Paul! Is somebody pressing the clutch with your 930 in the air? I don't think so!

Regardless, like everyone says...it's normal for the wheels to turn. Now is a good chance to find out if you have an open diff or lsd if you don't know what you have.

Sounds like you have been on the slippery slope but doing the right mods. Way to go Paulie!

Thanks all - good to know. Apparently *everybody* knew this but me 8-). I'm noht that smaht.

Arsehoal's... na mon... that's forum parlance to avoid censor nazi's. Tho it does sorta crack me up regardless.

MikeD!

Jah mon, LSD here - said it in the post, says so in me sig 8-)

From what I've seen, it seems all cars w/ Sport Seats were coupled w/ LSD - love both!

Slippery slope, indeed. Fear not, I've got a backup chute to keep me from plowing into ze ground. Ah, just a few opportunities that presented themselves that - while I was in zero position to do as usual - I simply woulda been fewl not to take advantage of.

I've noooo problem living off otherseses scraps, nope. Bring it.

Nothing too dramatic, I'm certainly no superhero like ohso many youses here. Just Garretson I/C, Powerhaus headers (shined up like new w/ no effort!), an adj WUR (go figure - literally as I typed this I just got a FedEx conf from Mr. Rarly that it shipped - woot), Prototipo, 934 telltale, and an AFR/EGT gauge.

Of course, I quickly succumbed to project creep (I should just stick to just me being a creep)... hip bone's connected to the - earlobe. Things snowball before you can blink (peripherals). I'm pulling the plug after this round most definitely.

Thank gawd for shipping shinybits to office addy 8-).

Hope you're enjoying yours there sir! LOVE THAT CAR, man did you score w/ that one...

ps. I just re-read what I wrote about the clutch - damn bierz talkin again, dunno WTF I was thinking 8-/
