My new 930 (with obligatory pics)
A while back I posted that I was in the market for a 930. Thanks to everyone who responded and gave me leads on cars. Well, the search is over...I'm back in the saddle again.

Thanks for your comments. I am very pleased with the color. I was looking for something other than Guard's Red or Black...not that there is anything wrong with them...I've had them both and was just looking for something different. This is a paint to sample, so it's definitely unique.
BTW, does anyone know of a source where I can find out production numbers by color? I'd like to find out if this is truly "one of a kind."

looks to be in stunning condition. Congrats! Mine is the same color, somebody recently posted pictures of a newly aquired car in the same color. There are at least 3 of us!

this is the tread I was talking about: dream fulfilled! my new 930
This car looks a bit darker but I think they might be the same color, ruby red metalic as said above. Its a tricky color. My car has been called brown, purple, black, and once red.

I might add in 86 when they reintroduced the turbo to the American market every dealership wanted one in their showrooms. I went into one after parking outside without any of the salesmen seeing me come in. They had one in that color on the showroom floor. After sizing me up and deeming me worthty of a sales pitch they informed that was a special color special for the reintroduction. Bla bla bla de bla bla. I pointed out into the parking lot. It got real quiet in there. It's all good boys.
