Engine cleanout video

Here is a video of my engine after the smog system, A/C pump,BOV manifold, air filter box were deleted. I reinstalled my decel valve teeing off the same pipe the AAR uses. Input welcome as far as if it is ok to use same pipe for those two items.

I Think you are ok doing that, but let the experts decide that.
Another comment: I would
Make sure the filter you have on the oil tank vent is facing up. That way you got yourself a small oil catch tank and not oil dripping out of the filter down the road.
I have zip tied
Mine to the RH fuel lines, it sits there nice and tight not in the way of Anything.

Sure is nice to get some of that junk off the engine, huh? Sorry I can't answer your question.

Yep, and it wont be long til it clogs up and starts stinking out the cabin like mine does.

Looks great by the way...

Thanks will do. My '87 comes stock with a catch can plus I keep the oil level in the lower range but I agree tying it up higher is smart insurance.

That'll work. The key is to be post-throttle body for both the AAR and the "gold flying saucer emissions overkill" thingy.

Thanks Mark. I really didn't want to use the "gold flying saucer emissions overkill" thingy since I hate clutter but without it I would get too much popping. Now with it installed my popping is minimal. But the RPM's don't drop as quick, I guess that is the trade off.
