That does sucketh on both accords (the wifey off to the Middle East, as well as ditching the car). Because you used the words "may have to" I would say DO NOT, I repeat, do not sell the car. Find a way....beg, borrow, or steal to find the funds you need to balance things out. Of course, you can always get another one later on (I'm talking the car), but you'll forever kick yourself for the hard-earned one you let get away.

Selling your car would be a tragedy. It is so detailed. No-one could reproduce that car for triple what it might bring in today's market.
Honestly, I would broker with a high end locator and start at $75K. The right buyer who sees this car in person will not scoff at that number.

Noooo!! Store it somewhere! A year is easy if you prep things right. You've had that car forever, don't let it go.

Responsible and meticulous people tend to react to sudden life-altering events by jumping into survival mode and lining up everything as fast as possible to make sure they come out the other side OK. It's a lucky trait to have actually, but this time DON'T

My heart breaks for you if it comes to that but I hope you can work around this moment in time and save your car. We all know how lucky she is to have you (wife and car).

Good luck. Please thank your wife for her service for me.

I wish you luck, but keep in mind finding a buyer who appreciates your car is going to be hard. It's so heavily modded that it wlll only appeal to a very small group of potential buyers. Ideally, keep the car, but if you have to move it, even at a lower price, do it. Cars are replaceable.
good luck with the sale.

Sorry you have to sell it. Just my opinion but I would pay $49,000 for it if I were in the market and had the cash. looks like a well done car

Ok, I'll be the jerk and spit it out...

As gorgeous as that car is, you may have to break it up to maximize your ROI.

I have a heavily modded 77 that while not as nice as your car, is not worth the sum of the value of the parts that went into making it what it is.

Good luck with it. My guess is that you would be lucky to get $40k for it. Sorry.
