on the block - godspeed Matt D
announced yest
Gooding Consigns a Significant Collection of Porsche Race Cars There's a venerable quadjillion dollahs of OMG'ness there - bunches of them were seen here: Porsche "Family Tree" Panamera Commercial Ad - Alternate Version - YouTube Wouldn't be a shocker if Porsche picked up one or 3 from here - some true treasures Matt amassed. Sure wish I had a few red cents layin round. I'm grateful he shared time with them - one of those life altering phenomena. 968RS, 934, 935-01, 959S, Baby Turbo, etc ***insert incoherent stutter*** Godspeed Matt Drendel... |

be very interesting to see where some of them land
heck more than a few are nicer / more significant example's than Porsche AG currently has I hear Ralph Lauren's in contention for ?, then you wonder about the Seinfeld's / Leno's / Krasusky's of the world... such a shame to see it split up, sad story really |

There was also a 550 spider that went across the block at 3.68 mil. Don't know details but that was off the charts!

yeah I was thinking the same, but it wasn't just any old 550 I don't think
1955 Porsche 550/1500 RS Spyder 3,685,000 this one also caught my eye 1967 Porsche 906E 1,001,000 and a '73 911 RS did $275k, pretty much what I'd expect these days just nutty - so many folks out there w/ soooo muuuuuch monay... it certainly ain't moi! 8-/ |
