wideband o2 vs 2ndry air system

Hi , just about to fit a wideband O2 sensor (innovate) to my 964 Turbo , just wondering can the secondary air injection system throw off the readings on this ?

Yes it will totally. You're adding air to the exhaust and that alone will show a leaner mixture in the tailpipe, and it's helping to burn off extremely hot remaining unburned gas and hydrocarbons in the exhaust port.

so by the sounds of it i better remove/disable the 2ndry air injection if this thing is gonna be any use at all ?
