Reinstalling ELECTROMOTIVE HPV-1 some questions
I am going to try my best to explain things.
I'm reinstalling the Electromotive HPV-1 ignition that came with my car. The wires were a mess and I did not pay attention when I removed the engine. My car is a standard 1989 carrera that has a 88 930 engine installed . The engine is running dual plug set up with dual electromotive HPV-1's . I have looked over the install instructions on page 10 but still have some questions http://distributorless.com/pdf_files/hpv1.pdf The system is wired to the positive terminal on the starter, this runs to 2 bosch relays (bosch relay # 0332 019 150 - 30Amp relay) My questions are the following- what wire could I use for the ignition switch signal for the relay's The Warm up regulator and air flow meter (is wired into the ignition relay) . It seems they have power as soon as the ignition was turned on . Is that correct? Should this be rewired? The car originally did not have the 2nd rear fuel pump. This was installed but its also wired into the ignition replays ( I dont remember how) any thoughts on how to correctly install this ![]() ![]() ![]() |
