Oil leak... But from where?
My 86 Euro 930 developed a bad oil leak on the way home today. I noticed smoke in the rear view, pulled over to find a leak that appears to be under the intercooler, on the drivers side. I don't think this is a valve cover or the oil pressure switch - it is definitely up top and on the driver's side. Any ideas?

The oil feed to turbo runs through there. Maybe the hose has given up, or the steel pipe may be touching something that rubbed a hole in it.

Thanks for the photo Bill... here's hoping.
I am going to have to yank the intercooler to see what's going on. I couldnt find anything obvious with a mirror and flashlight last night.

I just had a bearing failure, because at the oil pump (where the turbo oil circuit attached) I was leaking a little oil. Sensible machines, careful with any oil leaks on the turbo piping!

It looks like the oil line for the turbo is the culprit right where the hose crimps on above the valve cover...
