Benny,

I have recently purchased a set from GSF in Taiwan. I have had nothing but problems with them. The first set did not fit , crow bars would not pull them in. ( GSF managed to fit them with a push fit, amazing as the Porsche specialist i use spent 3 hours trying to fit them but was scared to damage them and engine components due to the leverage required so i lost the postage costs.
I am now on a second set which were slightly easier to install but still difficult. Now these are leaking internally and giving noxious fumes in the car.

This set is also cracking on the heat exchanger welds and are less than 2 months old.
GSF will only exchange once you have returned so the cost of shipping is huge.
i have no confidence in their product, it is very poor and cost me a shed load of money and i still don't have a functional set of headers. I will probably open them up and repair as GSF will only replace once i have sent them back, this equals extra money plus atleast 3 weeks downtime waiting for parts to ship and customs clearance.

This is the worst purchase i have ever made.
You will be best to save up a bit longer and buy a set from Rarely8 or Fabspeed. I wish i did.

Pro's: They are Cheap, Light weight, give good performance ( Boost comes on much earlier) Kit is complete with gaskets, oil pipes and tank

Con's: They are cheap, don't fit properly, poor quality, welds crack, left hand exchanger outlet duct formed so it can contact drive shaft, Possible internal leakage causing noxious fumes. Wate gate sits high as does exhaust when installed, suffers from overboost spikes.

Albert is a nice chap but their heat exchanger product are very poor.Other parts i expect would be okay from them.
Don't waste your money on the heat exchangers. Cheap is not cheap.

I've had Schnell (same product as OBX) without heat for several years, ca. 5000km without any issue except the poor fitting. It was not that bad, but needed some work to fit, maybe one hour. This can widely differ as you can read here on the forum.

So what timspu said is correct. As a temporary solution until you saved enough money to buy some real good ones, RarlyL8 in my case, they're nice. For longer use, they will fail in a way for sure!

Those things are pure junk. I can only comment on the fabspeeds I have, they fit perfectly, no over boost, no leaks, no drama. Rarlyl8, BB, and mode are other good choices. Moral," if its good it ain't cheap and if it's cheap it ain't good ". JL

Ya, i figured. I would like a good header but price is a issue. Mine (stock) is now leaking in the cab so i need a set soon.
$400 to $2000 is a leap and have not found any that are good/used yet.

Benny,

The GSF headers are $1200 USD incl postage. Save the extra cash and buy a set from North America. You will save money in the long run.

You maybe lucky and get a set that fits and does not leak, my set took a couple of weeks before they started to smell, and then it only did it on boost, now its there all the time so i have had to disconnect them from the car heater ducts.

Save your money and contact Rarly8 or fabspeed. This is my top tip for 2012 ...

I believe he made heater boxes that wrap around the headers, so yes.

He did and they work well enough to keep the chill off. I posted a pic of mine installed on one of my posts.

I welded on some heater boxes when I installed OBX on my previous 930.
Quality is not that bad, but not the best fitment.

Welded on heater boxes on OBX 930 headers:
