Could you provide some clarification? You say the door locks then immediately unlocks. The door lock button on the window sill; does it go all the way down and then come back up?
Or is the door solenoid attempting to lock and then releases? If you disconnect the battery and try to lock the doors manually, both sides of the car lock properly? |
The door lock button goes down then back up.

Not sure about a 930, but on a 928, if the electrical connector at the end of the lock barrel was installed incorrectly, the central locking system will behave just as you described.

I thought there was only one way it can fit?

The lock assembly was not removed. I just removed the door handle?
Thanks for the input people. |
You might want to remove the lock to see if either of the leads are broken. They are really delicate leads and easily broken.

I fought that damn central locking nightmare many times and it's $100
microswitches. About 9 years ago I s--- canned the whole thing and installed a $25 ebay keyless entry that has worked flawlessly ever since. I smile every time I lock and unlock the car. Cole |
Will spent over three hours today, still no joy ?

This is not something I am familiar with, since I Don't have central locking.
You say, after locking it, it jumps back up and unlocks autonomously? If that is the case, have you tried unhooking the battery, and see how it locks all manual? |
I will try that next thanks.

I think the fault could be with the micro central locking loom?
When I was checking it the small bit the turns the plastic tube in the handle had broken off ? If I am right it moves, forward to turn the plastic tube that fits on the key barrel. |
