Question Plug wires....options.

After doing a search, i thought id just ask.
What puug wire brand are you using. Because of MSD and higher voltage I was thinking that stock would not do to well.
Also looking for something in red to spice up the engine bay.
What do ytou have ?

I had replaced my OEM ones with Clewetts and they just didn't click onto the spark plugs too well. They would pop off somewhat frequently. I bought some Magnacores and haven't looked back. The Clewetts are under the bonnet in my spare parts box. Sample size of one but submitted FWIW.

i don't think the magnacores fit the coil or distributor cap very well but you can screw with the metal thing crimped on to the end of the wire under the little boot and make them fit in there tighter. then they sort of hold and usually make electrical contact.

as usual and like ALL parts for these cars...
the origonal ones are best.
