Advice on MDS ignition components needed

Guys, I want to go to MSD ignition on my 930. Looking at the 6AL, what other components do I need?
What coil?
Do I need a Tach/RPM adapter?

Recommendations/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Depends what you're doing, (what are you using now, is it twin plug, etc.?) base is a 6al and use a MSD blaster coil.

I have a tach adapter that I won't be using. You need one if using a stock VDO, I'm using a Autometer and you don't need the adapter with those.

Also, take a look at using M&W ingnitions instead of MSD....

My 82 had a 6AL for years with no problems as long as you use the correct rotor witout a resistor. The tach worked fine plugged right into the sideof the MSD no tach adapter needed in my case. If you do a search on the suject of the rotor with MSD there is plenty of info.
