Turn Signals

I'm in the process of resurrecting the 930 after being out of commission for 4-years due to a blown motor. Was just tidying up a few loose ends this morning and noticed an odd occurrence with the turn signals.

With the headlights turned off they appear to be blinking faster than usual. Both left and right works. With the headlights turned on, they still blink faster than usual but know the right hand turn indicator is permanently lit on the tach and the the right hand turn signals won't turn on. Left hand still works (but blinks fast).

Any suggestions? I'm ordering a new relay but is there anything else I should look at?
