Starts but doesn't run...

Thanks in advance for taking a look at my question. My '87 930 will start, idle very low and not throttle up/ makes no power/ feels like not getting enough fuel' running on 3 cylinders. Weird thing is, if I let it sit for 10-15 minutes it will start right up and run smoothly, make good power, etc. This happens when it sits for more than a day. The other observation: When it starts the 2nd time, it runs at a higher idle like cold start, then a couple minutes later back to normal idle. Temp here in MD has been 80-90 degrees when this occurs. What is going on here, didn't see anything like this in the Sticky on starting problems.

always make sure the basics are taken care of. plugs, cap rotor, good wires and no air leaks.
then i would make sure both pumps are working, check fuel pressures

Thanks T77. Basics are in good order. New plugs, wires, cap rotor, valves, etc last Sept/ 1,000 mile ago. Checked for vacuum leaks. Last thing I did prior to that was install Leaske Adj WUR about 18 months ago. Baffling to me that it starts fine 15 minutes after the starts but won't run at first.
