CDI Box engine wire harness connector

What is the best way to remove the female spade recepticles on the engine wire harness that plugs into the CDI box 6pin?

I would like to reuse those spade receptacle connectors to replace the green wire from the distributor.

Mike

I figured out how to remove the female terminals by using a tiny screwdriver and sliding it under the bottom of the terminal and pressing lightly upwards releasing the terminal.

If you don't mind me asking what type wires did you use to replace the green wire?

I purchased a 928 green wire from our host and purchased a harness with the proper connector from PartsKlassic the 928 is far longer than the stock 911 wire which is about 6" long the 928 is about 18 inches long so I now have a new wire running from the cdbox all the way to the distributor bad news is you gotta pull the distributor to install the plug end into the distributor port there is not enough room to pull the plug out which is also held captive by a clip screwed to the distributor. no room to get on that screw as well.
