Stated Value Insurance Coverage

Hi guys,

What is the consensus on who offers the best stated value coverage. Leland, Hagerty, Grundt, Heacock?

In particular I am looking for:

Must be Agreed Value coverage
It is OK that it only covers “occasional pleasure use” i.e. not used as primary vehicle or commuting to work, etc (i.e. don’t want to pay for something I don’t need)
It is OK that it does not allow track or contest use, etc
It is OK to have limited mileage restrictions e.g. 1,000 or 3,000 mi./yr. (mileage rollover is good)
It is OK that it must be stored in an enclosed garage
Must be able to get repairs at my place of choice
preferably has decent road assistance coverage (above AAA)
trip interruption coverage is preferable
Underwriter is reputable and rated good

Thanks,
Henry

I moved 5 cars to Grundy early this year on an agreed value basis. They were the best game in town at that time.

There are a few others to consider. I have American Collectors and am very happy with it. JC Taylor is another. Am Collectors is the only one I've ever used so I cannot vouch for others. I have a lot of respect for McKeel Hagerty and would probably change if it weren't for the 20 years or so of great coverage I've enjoyed from Am Collectors.

I use Leland West and have liked the coverage so far. I have used them for about 4 years now. Only thing I dislike - no online portal. With that to say, you have a particular representative assigned to your account and I have had the same person all four years so far.

I would recommend them.

Chris.
