Where to buy new 930 CIS fuel injectors?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to buy a new set of 930 CIS fuel injectors. I placed an order with Pelican this morning as the site showed the US spec 930.110.225.00 injectors in stock and ready to ship however it turns out they are backordered. So now I'm stuck. I've got the engine out doing maintenance and I'd really like to replace the original injectors. I'm ok with either the US spec 930.110.225.00 injectors or the euro 930.110.225.02 injectors. Does anyone know where I can find (6) of either the US or euro injectors? Thanks for any help you can provide! |

What makes you think there's anything wrong with the ones you have? They are so easy to backflush if you have an air compressor, some 8mm fuel line, a hose clamp and you're careful.
I just did mine today and the spray pattern is a perfect cone. I'll post how I did it later. You start by carefully wiring the pintle open and then soak them in techron for a week or two. |

As Jim said, injectors are pretty easy to clean and work well once cleaned. I was curious about what was actually inside one of these injectors, so I took it upon myself to take a 930 injector apart. Very simple: a small Schrader valve with a spring and a hooded two-sided screen on top. The screen is very fine mesh, so any junk on it will no doubt stop the injector from working correctly. Looks like the spring can be replaced...or modified, strangely enough. The rest of the injector is just a hollow tube. That's it.

Over the winter I picked up 6 new 009's for a 1982 930 from this supplier
Porsche Fuel Injector (930 911) - Bosch 62707 | FCP Euro Best price in town at the time ($90 per), and I lucked into a 10% discount on that particular day. Mine are 32 years old so time for a treat. I will have the original injectors cleaned and flow tested to keep as spares. Don't forget to pick up new copper washers for when you seat the injectors in the blocks. Cheers.... |

That's a great price! We keep -009 injectors in stock but cannot sell them at that price.
