Short bell housing conversion
I am planning to swap my 915 for a short bell 930. I realize I need an early clutch setup but what flywheel and starter ring gear is needed or compatable with a 9 bolt crank for this swap? Any recommendations for specific clutch components(shooting for 500chp)?

Thanks Phillip, I don't know if a later flywheel will work as the starter ring gear is place further back in the short bell housing. All I can find so far is the Patrick Motorsport lightened flywheel (PMP2409LWFW) anyone know if there are other options? Anyone successfully done this conversion and wish to share their experience and equipment choices?

I have the Kit from PM for the short Bell housing.
I do not convert to a G50 but i use the lower profile pressure plate and spring hub disc kit Service and quality are fine. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks Thomas. I have the 915 Centerforce clutch and really like it. The only downside is it is stronger than the transmission.
