Is specific fw needed with starter ring adapter?
I think I have a worn out fidanza fw and now I have found out that it needs a riveted friction plate if I can find a place where it can be done. Or I can send it to fidanza to have it replaced for a new one.
But there are even lighter ones available at around 500 eur but I need know if my adapter for starter ring will work for any 79 930 made flywheel. They all should have a starter ring but if its hot pressed mine will not work. This is what I have. Adapter is bolted with 9 bolts ![]() ![]()

Maybe I don't get your question right, but what has the starter ring to do with the FW? Ring will be mounted on pressure plate, adapter or not...

In this case the starter ring is bolted to the flywheel with the adapter like in the first pic. The fw has a lip and bolt holes and I'm not sure if thats the case with other LWFWs.
