Wastegate boost source question
Hi guys,
I currently take the boost pressure source line for my wastegate from just after the turbo and before the intercooler. After getting a larger intercooler and reading a bit more about intercoolers it seems at least some IC's will have a little restriction and cause a very small amount of pressure drop so your not actually getting your full boost pressure to the engine. Therefore wouldn't it be best if I move the boost pressure source for the wastegate to after the IC so I then get a correct and more accurate pressure reading for the wastegate. I thought that way it would allow a little more boost to compensate for any pressure loss from the IC??

my RUF IC has a port on it for the WG.
if your boost gauge still reads the same thing then there is not a problem.
