Good price for this modded 912? Might snag it

Found this one and thinking about picking it up doesn't seem like a bad price

Yeah, I'd be all over that if it isn't a rust bucket.

Not completely out of line for a bastard. It'll never be worth more than it's value parted out, unless someone spends more on it than it would be worth after it is done. A Catch-22 car.

Not a bad looking car but the rear wheels seem to be tipped in quite a bit at the top, excessive negative camber I think.

I thought scam too but it has a lot more detail than the scammers I see in my area, maybe your scammers are smarter down there.

It's for sure not a scam. That scam-meter needs to be re-calibrated Lol. I've saw the car locally and it looks pretty nice. Just needs some body work has some stress cracks from the widebody done in the 90's. Don't have the cash to jump on it as of now oh well maybe it'll be up for a while

The car is real, BUT, not a good car! I looked at this when it was for sale a year ago in Columbus Ohio. Someone from Cleveland bought it. Been on our Cle. CL for months now. He started at 22,000 with no takers. His ad gets a little more salty every time puts it back on. I remember a lot of underside rust troubles. Go to look if you are gonna buy!

Its a swb car still riding on original control arms but with late fenders. It places the wheels in the wrong place.

This car is a turd. It's being discussed in the marketplace too. I'm all for bastafd cars but this one is a bit ragged. Since its not numbers matching is pass.

Stress cracks on body say's fiberglass.. You just can't make LWB body mods look right on SWB.

Why is this here anyway?

I asked him he said he did not buy it from Columbus but from Indiana. Also he did start at 22k but has since lowered it to a more firm price since he doesn't have much room for storage. Said the floor pans need work but overall solid car. Not sure why having a car up for sale for a while would make it a bad car.. Just seems like no one has money maybe

This is currently a market where a good car is gone in hours. There's no issue if money for nice cars. This is a rough bastard of a project, that's why it is sitting. Anything over $20k is still too much for this car. It needs $20k of paint and bodywork.
